Louisiana Hot Wings

Hello everyone!

It’s Super Bowl Sunday and that gave us an excuse to eat chicken wings! Of course we didn’t actually watch the game, we just ate the food. I hadn’t made my chicken wings in months so I figured this was a good day to bring them back.

My wings are not actually not my wings. I found the recipe on a Louisiana hot sauce bottle years ago. I haven’t seen it since so now I pass it on to you.

 This has become my specialty.

I love the way these wings come out! They’re juicier than fried wings and they’re so easy to make.

Louisiana Hot Wings

Ingredients:
*Chicken Wings (I use regular wings as opposed to the little wingettes)
*1/4 cup butter, melted
*10 tablespoons hot sauce

Directions:

1- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.

2- Mix the hot sauce with the melted butter.

3- Dip the wings in the butter/hot sauce mixture and place on a baking pan. Baking pan should be either nonstick or sprayed with cooking spray.

4- Once all wings are fully coated, pour any remaining mixture over the wings.

5- Bake for 40 minutes at 400 degrees F. Flip them over halfway through.

6- Once they’re fully cooked, you can serve them at any point.

I suggest eating these as soon as possible. They cool down fast!

They’re delicious! You can add other spices if desired (except salt, the butter and hot sauce take care of that), but I honestly don’t think they need anything else! Even after all these years, these are my favorite wings. They’re so easy, but the only downside is that Orlando doesn’t like them! That’s a running joke!

Let me know if you make them and what you think! Or let me know and I’ll make you some!! I love them so much.
