What are my least and most favorite workouts?

My least favorite workouts are cardio workouts. I mainly despise jumping cardio workouts so I hate doing burpees and squat jumps. I actually refuse to do burpees. I don’t care how effective they are, I refuse. I also find cardio workouts overall to be boring. I don’t mind doing certain kinds cardio such as dancing or walking, but anything more extreme than that and I start doing interest.

My favorite way to work out currently is actually strength training. For a while I did pilates and was actually certified to teach for a bit. I still enjoy pilates, but I love strength training especially weights. I use dumbbells since I prefer working out at home and my little dumbbells made all the difference in making sure my back muscles are popping. I also love feeling sore, and strength training is what usually gives me that nice, sore feeling the next day.

I’m currently prepping for a quick trip back home. I mean quick. I have a show on Saturday so unfortunately I can’t take more time, but I’m taking my dog Voldemort to my parents. Since Orlando and I are going to be gone for a week because of our honeymoon, we decided that our families back home were the best choice to watch him. Our roommates are busy and I was hesitant to leave Voldemort with any dog sitters. It has nothing to do with their abilities and everything to do with Voldemort. He gets awful separation anxiety that might have caused him to have accidents inside. I was also nervous about how much he cries and how problematic that might have been. We thought about boarding him somewhere, but boarding fees were only slightly less expensive than flying home. So, flying him home it is!

Voldemort obviously knows and loves both our families so we know he’ll be comfortable. My mom and brother are his favorite people after Orlando and me and they’re both going to spoil him. He’s fine staying with my mom, but since she has two dogs, he’s a also fine staying with my brother. If my folks are all busy, he’s fine staying with Orlando’s family, too. He’ll stay in El Paso until May. That’s when we’re going back for our annual visit. I’m going to miss him so much. He’s my best friend. It feels good coming home to him after a long day. I know we’re making the right choice, but it’ll be hard not having him for two months.
