The Plan for February!
Hello everyone!
The last week of January kept me unbelievably busy, thus the lack of posts! January flew by for me and I can’t believe we’re in February already!!
February. It’s my dad’s birth month and Valentine’s Day is also coming up. I’m glad I can finally eat chocolate again! Orlando and I think we have our Valentine’s plan all figured out. There’s an event at the library where we got engaged so it’s perfect. For those of you who don’t know, Orlando asked me to marry him on the steps of the New York Public Library. It was the absolute best place to ask a bookworm like me for my hand in marriage.
So, what better way to celebrate our love and engagement than at one of our favorite places. I’m excited at least!
In February, I’m also starting another challenge and it’s vastly different than the ones we did in January!
I’ll be doing a body love challenge! If you’ve been following my journey thus far, you know that my resolution is to have a better relationship with my body. So far it’s going well. There’s still room for improvement, but I’ve gotten much better. I don’t look in the mirror with dread anymore. Well, for the most part! This challenge is only 7 days long. I’m hoping that those seven days of journaling, blogging and/or both will turn a positive switch in my brain.
So, what exactly will I be doing? I’ll be blogging and/or journaling and discussing with Orlando the following:
I also want to share with everyone that Orlando and I will finally be going on our honeymoon! Aahh!! We’re going to my favorite city ever: London!!!
So, why London?
1. It’s been almost two years since I went and had my heart completely stolen by this incredible city.
2. “The Prince of Egypt” musical is premiering on the West End and I’m dying to see it.
3. Orlando is jealous that I saw “The Woman in Black” and now he gets his turn.
4. The Harry Potter studio tour
5. Being married to Orlando means some unconventional tours and in this case that means a Jack the Ripper tour! People make fun of him for being unromantic, but it works for us.
We’re going in March! This will be a nice little break from life. I’ll be counting down the days.
Alright, time to share my before and after pictures from January! The main difference I notice is that my upper back muscles are popping! They look so good! Otherwise I don’t see any other differences.
I’m ready to continue celebrating my body and treating it well! This month will only add good thoughts and appreciation!! I’m determined!!!
I can’t wait to continue growing my positive relationship with my body. I’m tired of feeling hate towards it.
The body love challenge will start on my dad’s birthday, February 10. For now, I want to share my biggest insecurities come from my thighs and stomach. By the end of the challenge I hope to be able to love them for all that they do for me. For now I’ll continue to eat as healthy as I can while enjoying my favorite junk food since I can now!
