An Outfit to Transition from Movies to Audition
Well, this morning we went to watch "Weapons" as an apartment family outing. We all liked it, but found ourselves more scared than I think any of us were anticipating.
I also went to an audition after the film. The casting associate I auditioned for recognized me and it turns out she was in a reading I assistant directed about two years ago and it remains to be seen whether that's a good thing or a bad thing.
I am also happy to announce that I have a final callback for a short film on Wednesday! Obviously, I hope I get the part, but even if I don't, getting called back this many times is something to be celebrated. Most people who are not in this industry, don't understand how these are important victories to be celebrated.
Anyway, I wanted to share today's outfit as I think it turned out pretty cute!
By the way, peep my Short Play Festival poster in the background. This is the festival Bargaining CHIP was in and Danny and Mollee signed my poster for me. 💓

My former roommate gave me this traditional Mexican shirt before she moved out and I'm so glad to have it! I paired it with my green leopard print pencil skirt I treated myself to shortly after moving out to NYC in 2017. I dressed it up with my Virgen de Guadalupe earrings, that you can't really see, but I love them so much.
